Sofie leads our Ethics and Business Integrity portfolio, which includes the global implementation of the IFPMA Code of Practice and the management of the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officers Roundtable and the Ethics and Business Integrity Committee.
Her role also includes strategic HR responsibilities.
Before joining IFPMA, Sofie was Head of HR Compliance at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Prior to this, she worked in corporate compliance for Eli Lilly and Biogen. Sofie started her career in various HR training and development roles at Qimonda, Siemens, and UniCredit.
Sofie is a Certified International Compliance and Ethics Professional by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics in Minneapolis (US). She holds a Post-Masters in Adult Education from the University of Bamberg (Germany), a Master in Germanic Languages and Literature from the University of Antwerp (Belgium), and a Bachelor in Specialized HR Management from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Munich (Germany).
